Written Example:

Presenters explicitly articulate who is responsible for enacting policy and a timeline for when and how to implement policy.

Written Example: As the students in the leadership collective at a housing community present their data, context, and proposed policy for addressing the communication issues between the property manager and the residents. The policy outlines a communication escalation procedure that includes the director of programming for the community and the housing authority representative from the county. In the presentation, the students ask these decision makers and directors to commit and oversee the policy, ensuring that the policy become effective by the next rent cycle.

Video Example: The students lay out a clear timeline for achieving their action plan’s goals and clearly identify the different adults (by name and title) whose assistance and buy-in is required for their plan to succeed. Video Example:The students explain what they have completed leading up to their presentation - contacting their city council woman, consulting a graduate student to address drainage issues, and hosted community clean up days - but details pertaining to the future of the program are unclear. No specific person or persons are identified for the plan of creating more bike paths throughout Denver, and no timeline for completion is established during the presentation.
